The Mrs South Africa 2018 journey was a dream for Nicole Capper. Although a smart, ambitious woman, she never imagined she had the courage to achieve this goal. Nicole Capper decided to enter the competition after her daughter was diagnosed with a life-limiting rare disease, Cystic Fibrosis, at six weeks old.
Nicole Capper believes she had a choice. To allow a disease to steal purpose, and use it as an excuse for complacency; or to consciously go after her dreams despite it, and in so doing, show her children “that nothing can hold them back from achieving their goals.”
With a passion for health and preventative medicine, Nicole Capper is a “Rare Activist”, using her mobility and fitness to raise awareness for those without full health. She participates in sporting events and outdoor adventures all over the world – all the while liberating courage in others to do the same.
Nicole Capper is the CEO and Editor-in-chief of Luxuria Lifestyle South Africa, a luxury digital magazine and exclusive events company.
“Embracing truth and authenticity, and sharing my story and perspective with audiences is about so much more than notching up Instagram likes – it’s about having a purpose, making a real difference, inspiring and being inspired, and leaving a legacy of significance.” -Nicole Capper-
